The Redfords: Baby Redford Update

We are approaching week 16 and are VERY excited because we find out the baby's gender in 5 days!! Zach and I are terribly impatient and can't wait until the scheduled date of November 16th to find out the gender at the hospital, so we are going to place in town to have one done early on October 25th! I can't wait to share that moment with Zach and make phone calls to our loved ones to share the news! I am convinced we're having a girl, even having vivid dreams about it, but Zach is convinced it's a boy ever since he saw the baby moving on the first ultrasound. I guess we'll see who is right next week! Baby Harper or Baby Ryan?!

Time really has been flying by and for the past couple weeks I have been feeling pretty good. Also, today I felt the baby fluttering for the first time!! It is such a crazy feeling and makes me grow even more in love with our little one.

I am also very excited because my mom is coming out in a couple of weeks to help me start working on the nursery!! I haven't seen her since last Christmas (long overdue) and CANNOT wait to do some baby shopping and San Diego sightseeing with her!

My main cravings have been PB&J sandwiches and pickled beets! I also had some malt-o-meal with ice cream and sprinkles like how my grandparents made it for me when I was little and it might just be my newest addiction!

We have a mini-vacation coming up in November when we go to LA to visit with my great aunt and go to the Ellen Show! We're also working on planning a trip home to Texas in January. It's so crazy how much we miss home. We talk about it often and wish we could make it home for the holidays. We'll just have to FaceTime home for Thanksgiving and Christmas!

I'll be posting again next week after our gender appointment! Until then, I'll probably not be sleeping due to my OVER-EXCITEMENT! We love you all and miss you very much!
