The Redfords: What we've been up to ...

Wow, I cannot believe that Harper will be two months old in a couple of days!! Time really does fly by! About two weeks ago my dad and brother came to San Diego to visit and keep me company while Zach was underway for the week. We had a really good time and I was very sad to see them leave. Harper had her first visit with her daddy on his ship when he showed my dad and brother around. I finally established a pretty constant schedule with her and have her eating every three hours during the day and dropped one of the nighttime feedings! Last night she slept for SIX hours straight, from 8-2 and it was AMAZING :)

My 27th birthday was yesterday and I had such an amazing day with my perfect little family! Zach surprised me by getting off work early and took me to Coronado Boathouse (a beautiful historic restaurant on the water) for my birthday dinner. Harp has her two week appointment next week then Zach leaves for 17 days :( This will be the longest he has been gone at a time since the deployment last year. We are just happy that he will not be leaving on the 10-month deployment in August but instead moving to our new home in Virginia!

Life is pretty amazing right now and I couldn't ask for more! We will be making a stop in Texas on our way to Virginia and I cannot wait to see family and friends and introduce Harper to our loved one's that she has not been able to meet yet!
