The Redfords: The house is complete!!

We are finally all unpacked and set up in our new home. I am absolutely in love with it and look forward to the many great memories to come. We got to Virginia on a Wednesday afternoon, had mattresses delivered right when we arrived, went shopping for new bedroom furniture, got home to unload the car then went back to the furniture store to pick out and carry home a new entertainment center, went to a friends house to pick up our bed that I had shipped, put together the bed and called it a night. Then first thing Thursday morning the movers arrived with our household goods from California. We also had the new furniture delivered as well in the midst of the movers unloading. We unpacked into the wee hours of the night, had Directv come install cable Friday morning, made numerous trips to the store, unpacked some more, ventured out to Virginia Beach for dinner at a neat place called Flip Flops, had Harper in her crib for the first time (a huge success!) and then called it a night. Saturday I got up and went to the commissary to load up on groceries and we unpacked all day then Zach grilled us steaks and cabbage for dinner! Sunday morning we went to the pier in Norfolk for some sightseeing, back to the store for uniform pieces for Zach and more things for the house, made chili in the crockpot all day and had some new friends over to watch the Cowboys and eat chili. Monday morning we FINALLY finished EVERYTHING for the house ... the storage shed is now organized, Harper's bookshelf is hung, curtains are hung, all of the laundry (like 75 loads, no joke) complete and Zach reported to his new school. I feel like we have been going a million miles an hour but I am SO happy that everything is complete and we are officially settled. I must say, I doubt many people could do all of that as quick as us! I just about made Zach crazy with my OCD but he was a good sport through it all!!
