Harper is going to be a big sister!

Zach and I are so excited to share our big news that we will be promoting Harper to big sister in July!! The official due date is July 7th.
Harper is going to be a big sister!!
We feel so blessed and honored to be chosen to parent another baby and cannot wait to meet him or her! Harper is going to be such a great big sis and we think it is so awesome that the kiddos will be close in age and hopefully best friends!!

We had our first ultrasound on Friday and were able to see the heart flutter in the little baby's chest. I was only 6-1/2 weeks so he or she was still very small but it was a relief to see baby and it made it all feel so real.

This pregnancy is a lot different than with Harper. I am so nauseous all the time, especially around 8 a.m. while I am at my computer working! I pretty much have a constant headache and am dizzy non-stop. My blood pressure was very low on Friday so I was advised to grab a hold of something anytime I go to stand up :( Hopefully this all goes away after the first trimester!! Nonetheless, I will take ANY symptom in order to ensure a healthy pregnancy and baby!

Harper is now 7 months old and just got her first tooth and first virus in the same week. Let me tell you, that was one of the hardest weeks of my life, being pregnant, caring for a sick baby, working from home and maintaining the house!! I thought I might just lose my mind but luckily we got her into the doctor and got the confirmation that she had a virus and it was actually done running its course. Not being able to ask her what was wrong made me feel so helpless but we just shared lots and lots of cuddles which seemed to help!

She is pulling up to a standing position on anything and everything. I think it's so cute when I go get her from her nap or bedtime and she is standing up and waiting for me in her crib. She has been saying "mama" for a while now but seems to know what it means now and it is such a joy to hear her say it. When she was sick I could hear her crying and calling for me which was so sad and sweet at the same time.

We are looking forward to the holidays and creating new memories and traditions with our little bundle of joy!
