Happy 9 months!

Harper turned 9 months about a week ago and is looking more and more like a kid than a baby!

Grandpa came to Virginia and visited us for a week and we had so much fun! We took the bikes on the boardwalk at Virginia Beach a couple of times (Harper was in her bike trailer). The beach is beautiful and I absolutely love the beach vibe you get down there with all of the shops and restaurants! We also went to the aquarium which was fun and Harper really enjoyed. It was so sad to say good-bye but hopefully we will be seeing everyone in Florida in May!

Harper had her 9-month check-up and is doing great. She weighs an even 19 pounds (54th percentile) and was in the 82nd percentile for height! She is built just like me, long torso and short little legs! She is such a flirt and smiles at people non-stop. She also learned how to wave and say bye-bye and often does it with both hands which is too cute. She also LOVES to experiment with her voice and is constantly squealing and making funny noises to see our response. If we smile or laugh, she copies us and puts on even more of a show. She also LOVES to eat and is not picky (besides carrots). She really likes pasta (lasagna, ravioli) and blueberries are a new favorite. She is such a joy and has brought so much love into our home and family. We cannot wait to meet #2 and feel complete!

Speaking of #2, we find out the gender in 6 days and I am beyond excited! My gut says boy and I would honestly be surprised if it weren't but just as excited if it is a girl, too :)

Here are some recent pics! Enjoy :)
