Harper Rae Redford was born on April 8, 2013 (her actual due date!) at 2:18 a.m. (PST). She weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces and was 21 inches long!!
Labor was a bit intense lasting over 30 hours but in the end both myself and Harper were healthy and all of the pain was well worth it!
It was such an emotional and incredible experience that Zach and I will never forget. I was lucky to have my mom there with me and really don't think I could have done it without her!
Harper had her first doctor's appointment yesterday and was 100% healthy and did so great getting out of the house and running errands with us.
Zach and I keep pinching ourselves or expect to wake up from a dream. She is SO perfect in our eyes and is such an amazing blessing. Motherhood is so much more than I could have ever expected. I did not know it was possible to love something so much but Harper has given me that love. I gaze into her eyes while feeding her and tear up thinking about her being in my belly for 40 weeks and seeing her in real-life now.
