The Redfords: Hello October!

We are LOVING this weather and CANNOT wait for daddy to be home in 3 short days!!!

I have been working my tail off trying to establish a routine/schedule for the girls with the advice from a book that a friend recommended and I am happy to report that Payton slept until 7:30 this morning and Harper until 6:00!! That is HUGE because it had been like 4 am and screaming/crying nonstop throughout the day. Harp is down to 1 (2 hour) afternoon nap and Payton is on a good schedule with 3 naps. I feel SO much better now and can plan errands and activities around the naps so we stay away from melt downs from overtired children. Also, Payton is out of the rock n play and into a bed. That is huge because Harp wasn't into a bed until 9 months!!

Harper turns 18 months next week!! I cannot believe we have a 1-1/2 year old but she is the sweetest little thing and is changing every day. She is saying more words. She can ask for specific snacks (turkey, cheese, juice, milk, pickle!) and says "side" for outside. She likes me to play with her and if I sit down for a second she will come try and pick me up to come play more. She is in to coloring now and likes sitting at her table to do that. She also still loves dressing up in her princess dress and will dance along to songs on Frozen. It is SO cute!

We went to the petting farm again last week and there are some pictures below.

GOOD NEWS!! Our flights are officially booked for our trip home to Texas. We will be there Saturday, November 22nd through Tuesday, December 2nd. We cannot wait to see everyone and spend some quality time with family and friends. It is LONG overdue!!
